The wealth of Somalia is perhaps depleting irreversibly

The combined effects of Global Warming and consequently Climate change made our society’s habitat highly vulnerable to recurrent droughts. Land resources are intensely degrading, due to combined effects of both man-made and natural disasters. Communities exert intensive bush clearing either for charcoal and firewood or for farming and enclosures as well as they mis-manage their livestock species to overgraze marginal rangeland resources and reduce drastically the vegetation cover and consequently narrow the bio-diversity in the area.
